About Us
The South Downs Planetarium and Science center is a unique and convenient setting for all types of corporate or private events. Situated in the City of Chichester, close to Chichester railway station and the A27, makes the venue easily accessible. The site has car parking facilities, full disabled access and is in a quiet and peaceful setting.
We provide for the following:

Car Parking
There are two free car parks available.
The South Downs Planetarium one of two car parks.
Important Information:
At the start of a Planetarium show, your eyes will take a few minutes to adapt to the dark. For this reason, latecomers cannot be admitted. To avoid this, Please ensure that your group arrives at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Early booking advised
As the Planetarium is quite heavily booked during the Autumn and Winter months, Please book a slot for your group visit or private function as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
Admission Prices:
Usually £8.00 for adults, and £5.00 for children between 6 and 16 years old, BUT we may offer a reduced rate for accompanying adults with youth groups.
Please NOTE that we are unable to accept credit or debit cards at present, so payment is usually by cheque or cash on the day or for corporate events we can arrange for payment on invoice.
